For me it doesn't get any better than shoving a forkful of turkey, stuffing (w/sausage) and mashed potatoes all into my mouth at the same time.

Pure heaven.

Oh, and finishing it off with homemade apply crumb pie is pretty satisfying as well.

cornbread stuffing, or I guess dressing since I wouldn't eat it if it were actually stuffed in there

creamed corn ?

deviled eggs ?

yall are some poor motherfuckers...thats like Aldi food, not thanksgiving food

and wtf dressing...you people are listing it like its a main food and not a condiment

Though I wouldn't bet against some of you obese swines drinking it from the bottle, so it may be a valid point

Back when I worked at Honeybaked Ham I'd always take home a nice 10-12lb ham butt on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. I'd be sure to put an extra thick glaze on it too.

Damn sometimes I wish I still worked there, just for the fooooood

Not like ranch dressing ... is that what you are thinking since you said it comes in a bottle? Dressing = stuffing = bread and veggies and stuff.

stuffing = stuffing

why would you call it something like dressing, that already refers to something else.

Ass backwards I tell ya.

I don't, but I did this time because I specified that I wouldn't want to eat it if it were actually stuffing, i.e., stuffed in a turkey's ass rather than in a casserole dish

[Edited on November 11, 2008 at 3:42 PM. Reason : which makes it "dressing." I don't like it either, OK?]

not sure if this has been solved or not...but it's stuffing if it's stuffed inside the turkey, or cooked with the turkey i believe. my mom makes dressing, which is a totally separate dish and is baked in a casserole dish by itself

also, my favorite food is pumpkin pie...and rolls

^^that is the same distinction my family makes.

dressing holds it shape while stuffing is just like chunks of stuff (usually inside the bird)
