Not saying this movie bombed or anything...
but its not the "blockbuster" they were hoping for. It'll probably be profitable eventually (cost a shit tone of money to make) but not for a bit.


Pretty sure that Four Christmases will be #1 this weekend and Bond will probably be second.

I heard that originally they had jackman die but that didn't screen well.

This was obviously when jackman saves the kid from being shot by the bad guy.


I think from that point on jackman doesn't really appear with any other characters, unless he is blurry in the background. So i'm thinking they did some extra editing/shooting fancy fixes.

I saw it yesterday with my sister, not knowing what I was getting myself into. It's not so much that it was long (Batman was long), it's just that it felt long. It came down to the way they edited it and used music to make you feel like it was over 4 separate times.

and the aboriginal witch doctor thing was relied on too much...

the filmography was pretty cool. There were times where the set looked like a theatre stage. (I don't know whether that was something the director was going for or not)

The CGI cows were very lame. That whole scene wasn't very convincing. I also feel like the whole droving thing could have been much shorter. I remember being confused when they got the cows to the ship because I thought the movie was ending and there was no war.

All and all though, I really enjoyed the movie.


What I loved more than anything though, was the earth day 2009 preview.
