I know a girl named "H".

Like, that's it. It isn't an initial--it's her name, written on her birth certificate.

(The story goes that "Harry" is a family name, but her parents weren't going to name their little girl "Harry", so they just named her "H".) She goes by her middle name sometimes, too, but I (and lots of other people) just call her "H".
