YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT SON. THE MEAT IS THE SAME AT BOTH PLACES. IT IS ALL PROCESSED AT A PROCESSING PLANT BEFORE IT COMES TO EITHER PLACE. JIMMIE JOHNS DOES NOT COOK THE MEAT FOR THE SUBS. ITS JUST LIKE THE MEAT YOU GET AT THE DELI AT FOOD LION. WHICH IS JUST LIKE THE MEAT THAT SUBWAY GETS SON.

No I'm talking about your issue with Jimmy Johns. Not fuckin pepperoni. You forget you mentioned 2 different topics in your own damn thread.

Prepackaged meat sits in the warehouse and is filled with preservatives to keep it from going bad for weeks as it's transported.
Meat cut in-house goes from being created to a truck to the fridge & is then cut. Much fresher. Are you saying you prefer the packaged meat btwn dairy & fish @ the Teet versus the deli sliced meat???

the subway pizza is awesome

and I don't know if they all do it, but you only have to pay for extra meat toppings - they'll top with as many vegetables as you want for free

Are you serious? Where I come from? You talked about how awesome Subway is compared to Jimmy Johns & Jersey Mikes. No comparison.

And no, the meat from Subway is not the same quality as the Deli meat at the grocery store.

JUST BECAUSE THEY SLICE IT AT JIMMIE JOHNS DOESNT MEAN THAT IT IS ANY DIFFERENT FROM THE SLICED MEAT AT SUBWAY. THE SLICER IS ALL FOR SHOW TO MAKE PEOPLE LIKE YOU THINK THAT YOU ARE GETTING A BETTER PRODUCT. ALL HAM, TURKEY, ETC. IS FULL OF PRESERVATIVES, PHOSPHATES, SODIUM NITRATE/NITRITE, SALT, ETC. THATS HOW YOU MAKE DELI STYLE PRODUCTS.

OH EMM GEE IF I POST IN ALL CAPS IT MAKES ME MORE RIGHT.

Deli-sliced meat or in-house sliced meat is better because you can't keep it in the fridge forever. Prepackaged meat sits in the fridge and is typically vacuum-sealed and is indeed filled w/more preservatives. Seriously, go eat a piece of turkey from Subway and a piece of turkey from Jersey Mikes.

Oh I see, so because I'm not a food major I can't POSSIBLY understand the intricacies of good quality meat versus sub-par quality meat. I forgot that my major indicates my level of competence of all worldly things.
Maybe you should quit communicating with me, since all you know is food.

ARE YOU UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT HAM [SUCH AS SLICED HAM OF ANY KIND] IS MADE FROM WHOLE MUSCLE OR THE HAM OF A PIG? IT IS NOT. IT IS ACTUALLY MADE FROM FINELY GROUND PIECES OF PORK THAT ARE BINDED TOGETHER WITH ALL SORTS OF INGREDIENTS. WHEN YOU COOK A WHOLE PORK "HAM" YOU END UP WITH A ROAST OR BARBACUE, NOT DELI HAM.

Good luck in your profession when the PR, marketing, advertising and sales ppl don't exist, then. But, since you're not in my major you couldn't possibly understand its importance.

I'll let you continue to bash my major, I have yet to bash yours beyond "All you know is food," which, to a certain extent, is true.

Okay, SON?
