I got plenty of weird looks being the only red shirt in a sea of Carolina blue. I also gave the wolf ears to every camera man and sorority girl holding a sign at mile markers.

26:50, it was a tough course. No 2 or 3 mile markers and no water stops, lots of hills also.

i was barely sweating and didn't have to spit once...was a great climate for the run

some of the roads were a bit sketchy...going downhill on wet leaves...nothing too dramatic

I didn't need mile markers...I wear a HR monitor...so I was able to tell via my time/HR roughly what my paces were

I guess everyone runs differently. I generate insane amounts of spit.

I was trying to break a new PR, so I was planning to pace myself and hit 8:00, 16:00, and 24:00 for each mile marker respectively. When I got to 18:00 and hadn't seen the 2 mile marker yet, I started freaking out thinking I had been going super slow. It messed up my game, man.
