Is there a quality difference between the pea coats mentioned here and the the $200+ ones from designer stores, or is it just the brand name?
Old Navy is $60 and Banana Republic is $250. This is for a womans peacoat. 11/21/2008 4:03:31 PM |

^^ because only people that shop old navy are middle schoolers and working class people
Banana Republic has a prestige of affluent fashionable young adult. Kinda like a more urbanite metro RL brand. If you don't want to dish out the extra $$ at least at a minimum get GAP.
Old Navy= Kia GAP= Honda Banana Republic= BMW

typically affluent individuals choose higher label brands.
BR is a higher tier of a lower class brand.11/21/2008 4:49:50 PM |

Its obvious the different stores cater to different economic classes. I don't care if I have to spend $60 or $600 for a quality coat, but if there's little difference in style or quality I'm not going to waste the money for the stores "prestige". 11/21/2008 6:31:21 PM |

i still have my american eagle peacoat from senior year of high school and one from target that looks pretty nice considering I paid 39.99 for that one...
That said, I think a pea coat is worth investing in because it is a classic piece of clothing and you can wear it year in and year out... 11/21/2008 6:48:10 PM |

i thought 32-34 was like the majority of non-obese people, i could wear the same pants as my roommates in college and we all varied in height 11/22/2008 9:46:29 PM |

according to the internet... Walmart only carries L & XL, nothing found at Target for men, and Kmart carries M, L, XL, 2X, & 3X in Joe Boxer Brand ankle length thermal pants (reg price $9.99, sale $4.99). Usually you can find them @ Sears as well. 11/23/2008 6:07:49 PM |
