^^^just wiki'ed her latest album and every song has her plus a few other writers, wonder how much she actually puts in to it. i know big artists like beyonce always get writing credits even when they do next to nothing. change a note here or a word there and you are a writer.

assuming she DOES play a major part in the writing, i guess that just explain why she doesnt get any well written songs?

You guys are really up on your pre-teen girl sub culture.

No one is going to say they lip-sync in an interview.

They do medleys because we have short attention spans and because those people's careers peaked a long time ago. They're hoping that someone will remember that crap and go out and buy their catalog or greatest hits. EDIT: Or better yet, download a song or two, get busted, and shell out $5K in extortion money.

Awards night. That means there is some crappy, heavily edited movie from the 90s on some other channel. I'm off.

She talks a lot about why she writes what she does and how things influence what she writes and coming from a family of music and writers, I think she actually does write a lot of it. I spend entirely too much time watching the disney channel when I can't find anything else on tv.
