I hate all the faggots here in Wilmington who claim to be a hardcore RedSkins fans. After15 FUCKING YEARS you have not caught onto the fact that your state has its own football team; which is a shit ton better than your lame team from DC. I thus get HIGHLY annoyed when I attempt to hit up the local sports bar to see our the panthers kickass only to find it to be overrun with Redskins Hooligans who have their game on all the TVs, then crying when they get their asses kicked again.


I know the Panthers are a Charlotte team but even in Raleigh the Panthers are "the team" as far as NFL football goes.

sorry i fucked up my math, 13 years, 1995-2008. I know because i went to Panthers game in 95 when they still played at Clemson's stadium since BoA Stadium was not built yet.

I don't expect every hardcore fan to jump ship, even though it ahs been 13 years....
Still though in Raleigh I could go to the bar and be guaranteed to watch the Panthers game.
Dumbfounding is the number of times i've gone to different bars on game day to either find the panthers game NOT on or its on one of the side TV's. Usually with the Redskins or (random other team) playing on the big one.

I don't know if I 100% agree with the NC/SC comment...but I think there's at least some evidence to it.

I feel like there's a lot more Panther support down here in Charleston than there was when I was in Raleigh or Wilmington. People in SC are just all-football. They don't care about basketball at all...so all their energy goes into USC and Clemson football...then the Panthers...where as we probably put ACC basketball first, then ACC football, then NFL. And Charlotte is so close to the border and they really believe that the Carolina stands for South Carolina just as much as it does North Carolina.

Just saying...it's not a completely baseless comment.
