I have the x86/x64 Server 2008 install disc (both versions on one disc). Because Microshit is a bunch of dumb fucks, it is not possible to restore a system backup of a 64-bit system without a 64-bit only install disc. If I try to restore my backup it says the backup is from an incompatible version of windows and can't be restored. The answer all over the internet is to use a copy of the 64-bit only version to restore the backup. Does anyone have access that can burn a copy and mail it to me or let me pick it up? I have a valid key and license. I just need the disc.I'm tired of only being able to access the interweb on my phone.

evan said he can get it for me. otherwise if someone has an MSDNAA login they'd let me use to download the installer and burn the disc, I'd take that option (but I doubt anyone would want me using their shit like that).I'll download from MSDNAA on someone else's computer, but I'm not gonna download a torrent on a computer I don't own.

you can download the trial from microsoft. or used to could anyways..if you can't anymore i can burn you a copy and that should work--it just asks for a key at the end of the trial which you should have.

For future reference, a Vista x64 disc will do as it has the 64-bit Windows recovery environment on it.]
