i would like one of these for lunch and my options are as follows:
Bear Rock - close
Panera - right across the street
Jersey Mikes - decently close but my favorite over all
Jimmy John's - cheap and fairly close
Arby's - not really even an option

now, a turkey sandwich is NOT a turkey sandwich is NOT a turkey sandwich.

given these options which one would you chose and why.

you have 10 minutes to decide for me

I too plan on having a turkey (or a club) sandwich for lunch

I would recommend some place that serve's Boar's Head meats

They are they best by far IMO in terms of texture, taste and overall quality

I am going to Firebird's for mine in about 5 minutes

if i could pick two, i'd say bear rock or jersey mikes. i used to work at bear rock so ive eaten everything there, the colorado turkey flatbread (if they still even have it anymore) was really really good, but honestly i'd prefer a jersey mikes sub (mikes way) over it. (jersey mikes would be a few bucks cheaper too if you get that lunch deal thats 7.70 for sub, drink, chips).

Bear Rock is surprisingly horrible for you, nutrition-wise. If that matters.

A man shouldn't have to make his own sandwich. Something is seriously wrong with America now, what happened to happy girlfriends making sammiches? I demand this be reinstated at once! Oh wait, jimmy johns delivers. Nom nom n om nom

Homemade turkey sandwiches are the bee's knees but I would choose Jersey Mike's out of all of those options.

ha

for me, its never a question of what kind or where to get it from. well ok sometimes i have to pick between smoked or normal turkey, or i switch up the swiss to a different kind . but the sandwich remains the same, and it is from the jacklegs crib deli

its about what kind of chips i wanna eat with my sandwich. current bag is BBQ

Man, every time I think about turkey sammiches, I think about the first time I got high. Was my senior year in HS, , and one of my best friends and I were out cruising the back roads one Sunday...smoked a couple of fat spliffs (SKUNK, BABY!), and 10 minutes later, I can't feel my face.

We get the munchies, and I remember that my mom just bought like 5 pounds of sliced deli turkey. And we had bacon in the fridge. So off to my house we go.

In the kitchen, making sammiches on rye bread, lots of turkey, lots of mayo, and bacon and whatever sounds like it would be remotely good on a turkey sammich...the third time I bump into the kitchen table, my folks drag me in their bedroom and demand to know what I'm whacked out on. Paranoia sets in, and I stammer "not a damn thing!" After a pregnant pause, watching me sweat a river, they let me go. I get out in the kitchen, tell Bones to finish his goddamn sammich, and we get the hell out of there.

Alas, I have learned that my dear pal Bones passed on to the hereafter a couple of years ago. He took his own life after getting dumped the day before his wedding. None of the chicks he ever dated were worth that...he had a thing for trashy fatties. Of course, he was rail thin; hence the nickname.
