have squinty eyes?

Its not like theres a bunch of gold bars in asia that would blind them so if one happened to be born with squinty eyes he'd be at a serious advantage and that trait would be 'selected' or something. There isn't anymore dirt there than anywhere else in the world except maybe the arctic, so its not like they'd get dirt in their eyes. wtf

its because they don't find the slant to be attractive any more. they even get surgeries to get the eye lid to show, its weird.

but i feel big business on the not knowing how the trait became so prominent. if traits were chosen based on the advantages that trait provided then that would suggest such an eye formation would have a purpose. so what is that purpose or are all traits not a result of natural selection.
