There's a set of car ramps under my back deck not being used. I have no clue who's they are, but you can come borrow them if you like. 12/12/2008 3:46:57 PM |

Yeah, both my cars are so low I don't think ramps would work. 12/12/2008 4:36:44 PM |

^ Ramps did not work with my S2k. Had to use the factory jack to do an oil change because neither my ramps nor my floor jack would fit under it. 12/12/2008 5:34:51 PM |

My oil catcher wasn't fitting under that car without lifting it either. I guess you could just let it pour in the gutter or something.

It's a 2 L honda engine in an engine bay larger then anything for an I-6.
You can physically reach the oil drain plug from the engine bay. The oil filter is on its way to the drain plug.
Pop the hood and try it. It isn't easy but its def doable. With the car on small board anyone 6 feet could do it with ease. I did this when my jack exploded.

I think I know what you're talking about. I used a similar technique on a friend's Z28. I basically laid on the engine and hugged it, putting my arms down the sides with a wrench and swapping out the spark plugs. 12/13/2008 1:00:50 PM |
