Some wal-marts have canvas already mounted to a wooden frame. I bought 3 different sizes a while back and it was pretty cheap. I don't know if they have just canvas, though some wal-marts have a fabric section where you could buy stuff by the foot, but I didn't specifically look for canvas like that.
