well they probably realized that the new STI was no match for the rest of the group. what a terrible attempt at a competitor for the EVO.

Have you guys also heard that Audi's withdrawn from the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. That's significant in that they've won like the last 5 in a row

the world is coming to an end!

If only the 'big 3' withdrew from NASCAR...THEN we'd have something to celebrate. oh and I guess Toyota now?

Mitsubishi doesn't compete either. And the new Evo X is a joke. Although top gear did a comparison between the new STI and the new Evo X...they LOVED the Evo X. But of course they test the british models so it is by no means the same evo you can drive off a lot here. They tested the Evo X FQ360 and FQ300

i watched the Top Gear on Monday, and, true, it was very close on their track, i just don't like the new STI, primarily looks wise. I haven't seen a positive review about it yet. and from a design standpoint, it is just terrible and i can't understand how something like that gets past the head guys at subaru. pulling out of the racing that put them on the map is a pretty idiotic idea too. The 5 min. WRC highlight vid is gonna be pretty lame next year.

not quite. they will run select races, including the 24 with a new car, but not the entire ALMS schedule in the US or the Lemans series in Europe.............

Solberg and Atkinson had put down some pretty respectable times with the new Subaru WRC - not quite sure what you were talking about competing against the Evo, which hasnt been manufacturer-raced in WRC since what - '05?

the EVO is a meaner looking and better looking car compared to the STI. i just can't do hatchbacks.

this really has nothing to do with the Evo or Sti you are familiar with.

They had two STi's at Southern States marked down from $37,xxx to $31,xxx. Not bad IMO.

Its all this standard motor bullshit.. (and the economy)

hows a company supposed to sell their car as a better package if everyone uses the same motor...

STOP TRYING TO MAKE MOTOR SPORT A PURELY DRIVERS SPORT

MOST OF YOUR SPECTATORS LIKE THE CARS/ENGINEERING AS MUCH OR MORE THAN THE DRIVERS

you know that is what makes WRC, right? You may be more interested in the '80s Group B cars rather than the current WRC lineup
