This thread inspired me, Metricula. So, I contacted the Bookstore and they, in fact, do not currently have a list of tassel colors posted on their Web site. The guy who updates the site, however, assured me that my suggestion to include a page listing tassel colors and other academic regalia would be acted on tomorrow. I guess it's just one of those obvious things that everybody thought we already had.In any event, by posing this simple question, you have helped future members of the Wolfpack. Good job. ^ Yes, but there still should be a list at the Bookstore and on their Web site--I mean, Wikipedia shouldn't need to be consulted. A graduating student should be able to go into the NCSU Bookstore and request a CHASS tassel, for example, and be handed the correct color without a lot of fuss.I mean, we hold commencements twice a year at State and determining tassel color should not be one of the worries. This should not be a controversial position.

^^^^ Thanks. . .um. . .I think. Some of these A-holes never bothered to consider a scenario in which the answer concerning what color tassel to wear might not be so cut and dried--maybe they'll just call up Wikipedia or Google to settle it for them.Yeah, the NCSU Bookstore--on the campus of the very university that we're graduating from--not having a complete list of academic regalia when they sell a lot of it makes perfect sense.[/sarcasm] In any event, here's a graduation slide show:http://files.technicianonline.com/fall08graduation/
