featuring
Chris Duhon as "Steve Nash"
Duhon's breakout performance is hailed as a "miracle of mimicry." His mastery of craft and 8.6 assists per game will make you believe that you witnessed the legendary Canadian two-time MVP. Only without a reliable jumper.
Nate Robinson as "Leandro"
Once considered a "back-up" role, the part of "Leandro" has grown in prestige with further years of consideration and accolades. Robinson's fire is channeled passionately as he heartily inhabits the speedy trickster, chewing the scenery as he tallies trey after assist after steal. It's a spectacle that many are calling the best performance by a dwarf since Peter Dinklage's Sundance turn, or maybe that creepy little dude from Twin Peaks.
David Lee as "Kurt Thomas"
A "workmanlike" part in the mold of Willy Loman, Lee is considerably less likely to commit suicide now that he's joined the primary cast for four shows a week. Lee, now in a featured role, turns the unheralded into the sublime on an almost nightly basis, posting double-doubles in 14 of his last 16 performances.
with
Wilson Chandler as "Shawn"
This young talent is right at home in the chaos of an action packed show such as this, averaging over 1 trey and 1 steal with nearly a block and 6 rebounds a game.
Quentin Richardson as "James Jones" and "Tim Thomas"
This full-time portrayal of two characters nightly would be a tremendous feat, if only he was healthy enough to perform or if they did anything more than hit open shots/get ocassionally streaky when they themselves did.
Al Harrington as "Boris the French"
This legendary part renowned for being both unique and unclassifiable (except to when classified as "unique") is embraced by a player sometimes equally confounding and contradictory. Harrington is has stolen the show many nights in this short run, and is likely to surprise even more if he can maintain the 25 point average he's displayed in his last 10 performances.
and a special appearance by
Eddy Curry as "BENCH"
"If you don't pay too close attention and maybe have a couple of extra drinks at intermission, you might convince yourself that this the best semi-professional basketball-like presentation ever."
