cause no one gives a fuck about what you think, or find funny.anyway, so we have this huge giving tree in the cafeteria at work. I guess it was erected about 3 weeks ago. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the giving tree concept, it works like this....the tree has tons of envelopes on it. On the envelopes is written an item (gift). if you choose, you can go get the gift written on that envelope and give it to the family or person that asked for it....giving you the chance to help someone less fortunate have a merry christmas. my company sponsored a tree for a non profit org. cool.So I was just down there getting lunch, and was looking at the envelopes. most of them are normal....socks for my son jimmya doll for heather$10 gift card to targetI was astounded to see Play Station 3 written on one of the envelopes. I somehow don't think that envelope is going to get picked by anyone. On the other side of the tree, I saw another envelope that had "women's lingere size ......" written on it. I LOLed myself all the way back to my desk moral of the story is, don't ever click on an EMCE thread again

they use to do those trees in the mall, at least in south dakota they did, use to be my favorite thing to do, cause you could get the most random inexpensive gift and know that it was helping and yadda yadda, then randomly one year i went, here in nc and the cards were all like $100 gift card for shoes, or 50$ giftcard to walmart, or gameboy advanced.what the hell what happened to socks, a deck of cards and a book or dress pants, slippers and a candle.
