A candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and you have burned very brightly...

ps. check A.I. if you liked Bladerunner, it's got a similar theme

Enjoyed this movie...but don't see the cult obsession with it.

It had a unique storyline for the time and many plots have borrowed from it in some way since then. The special effects and scene backgrounds were ridiculously elaborate for the time, even go far to say they stand up to todays cgi-less standards. And although it may have gained a lot itself from dick tracy-like detective classics it still excelled as drama/action flick in it's own right. Had great acting from the likes of Rutger Hauer and Daryl Hannah. Plus it's fuckin Harrison Ford when he was still Indiana Jones, I mean whats not to like.

All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

Awesome movie. One of the best. It is one of the few movies that is typically regarded as "one of the best ever" that is actually worth the hype.

Director's cut FTW.
Rutger Hauer, Sean Young FTW

Movie inspired William Gibson to write all that Neuromancer stuff.
