i agree, skin color shouldn't matter. if you suck as a coach, you suck. it's not like the steelers are going to fire mike tomlin b/c he's black. he's winning football games. you could be fucking tie-died pink, purple and green but if you win football games you'll have a job.

^ exactly... the guys that were fired this year (MSU and KState) both had terrible years....

then again, ISU Coach won no conference games and got an elite coaching job... but he was just as qualified as Gill in my opinion... now Gill should have been named Syracuse coach... would have been a perfect fit imho (with ties already in upstate NY)
