I know A+'s count as 4.333, but can you not get over a 4.0 for the semester? I have all A's and two A+'s and it is saying I have a 4.0 for the semester.

weighted GPA's are 4.0's

you can brag about > 4.0 if you'd like though.

first 6 semesters at state for me = so so

7th semester - suspended from TWW the whole time = deans list

8,9,10 never got back to posting like i used to = deans list



i wonder if that had anything to do with it

^ I'm pretty sure it Will bring your overall GPA up, the 4.33's will be factored into your total grade points. Your semester GPA is just capped at 4.0; and theoretically your overall GPA, if you got all A's & A+ 's your entire college career.

The 4.33's from the A+ boost your overall GPA until it reaches 4.0-- that's the maximum.

When you get > 4.0 average for a given semester, it still posts a 4.0 for the semester, but the 4.33's are factored into your overall GPA. You can check this on your unofficial transcript, where it lists the grade points earned for each completed course.
