BOG?

Oh, you mean BOC.

Those trackers aren't really going to help you that much. They will help you a little bit because to get the BOC you will have to first "get through" to the main page and then click the "I want one" button which will take you to https://www.woot.com/Member/Order.aspx

That's all that wootalyzer does is take you straight to that link directly. So yeah, that's one less time you'll have to actually request a page from the server. But you'd be just as well off clicking that link I just posted as you would downloading that program. Minus the part about the program actually reminding you/making noises/whatever.

Well the whole point of the BOC is that it could be anything.

but #1, you won't be guaranteed to get one even if you do stay up. I've been up at 1am for the last 2 years in a row and haven't been able to get through. And it only gets worse as the site gets more popular. I'd estimate less than 10% of the people that try actually get through.

and #2, there is a reason they call it a bag of crap. because most of the time it really is just junk they have laying around. but you can get lucky and get nice things like an ipod or whatever, but that's certainly not something to count on.

Long story short, no, it's probably not worth it. but if you're up and not doing anything it wouldn't really hurt to try.

I am so sick of the BOC. I've been on Woot as soon as it's released the last 4 or 5 times and can never get through...
