12/27/2008 12:44:54 PM

12/27/2008 12:47:10 PM
Did you check your front stoop?
12/27/2008 12:47:15 PM
^^lol, a response from an actual package, BEAT THAT!
12/27/2008 12:47:35 PM
I have indeed checked my front stepsas well as the front steps of my neighborsthey're calling the local FedEx office now to find out where the driver dropped the package off. I think they have to scan the package as they drop it off to say that it has been delivered. Knowing this, I hope someone gets their ass handed to them for scanning, but NOT delivering
12/27/2008 12:49:06 PM
more likeEMCE pwnt. Stayed home.
12/27/2008 12:49:31 PM

12/27/2008 1:01:59 PM
You live a nice life. lol.
12/27/2008 1:38:41 PM
this happened to me before...and it was also FedExall FedEx will do is say that whoever did the sending of the package will have to take the steps to contact FedEx to investigate.I never got the package, or any support trying to locate itI just hope, for your sake, that whoever sent the package is a company and not an individual (eBayer), because I, for some reason right now that I have no clue as to what it is, gave positive feedback before getting the package. When I contacted the seller, I never got any communication back.[Edited on December 27, 2008 at 1:43 PM. Reason : asdasdf]

fedex dropped off a package on the uncovered deck at my parents place some time yesterday. To get to the deck you have to walk under the house, past a 6 ft sign that says "FREIGHT" with a down arrow, then up the stairs. I went over this morning to check on things (they are out of town) and found the box sitting there. It had rained last night. Shit like this made us tell all of our suppliers for work to stop shipping things DHL because they were full of incompetent idiots. Seriously, who would think it's ok to walk under a covered area with a big sign saying FREIGHT \/ to go leave it on an uncovered deck in the rain?

12/27/2008 1:42:32 PM
ah delivery peoplemensa candidates they are not

it was my mom that sent the package...It just sucks, because my keys were inside of the package along with some other things. So whoever has the package has my address, and keys to my car, house, etc...so, if that package doesn't turn up, I'm making FedEx pay for the cost of at least my car keys (the keyless entry system that costs about $100 for a key), and pay to change the locks for my house

wtf[Edited on December 27, 2008 at 2:38 PM. Reason : wtf]
12/27/2008 2:38:39 PM
ahahahagood luck "making" them do a damn thing.
welp, I don't really know how to respond to that comment other than to say...there is a legal system in this country for a reason
12/27/2008 2:42:20 PM
a legal battle vs FedEx? Yeah, have fun with that

crisis avertedI got them to do their investigation. They called the driver. She said she dropped the package off at like the 6th house on the street. They delivered it to 328 instead of 338 It was hidden behind their screen door, so we ganked it and left a note. Then I called FedEx and told them what happened. They refunded the cost of delivery (next day)
12/27/2008 3:34:49 PM
In my experience, FedEx sucks and UPS is way better. Our packages we would ship at work would be all tore up and never arrived when they were supposed to.
12/27/2008 3:43:05 PM
I've heard the same stories about every carrier.. so, IMO it just depends on that particular driver/ppl who handled the package..not necessarily who you ship it throughoh, and DHL sucks cock.good to see you got it though EMCE
12/27/2008 6:08:23 PM
DHL went out of business, didnt they?
12/27/2008 8:46:31 PM
nice of them to deliver that package to me at work last week then
12/27/2008 8:47:14 PM
http://www.latimes.com/business/careers/work/la-fi-dhl11-2008nov11,0,7358557.storynmind, just pulling out of US domestic shipments after Jan 30.
12/27/2008 9:08:19 PM
yep, I heard about thatSomething about US domestic not being profitable enough to offset the costs?weirdanyway, we really relied on DHL for work.and it was REALLY nice to be able to call those mother fuckers from my house, get my package ready, and have then show up in 15 minutes to pick up my delivery
12/27/2008 9:28:52 PM
come to think of it, i think it was some shit from colombia or mexico that i got in the mail via DHL
12/27/2008 9:32:17 PM
I am glad you got home safe. That was a concern of mine.
12/27/2008 10:03:12 PM
