I'm cashing mine in today. My wife bought me COD:WAW for Christmas. I turn on the 360, and get the three flashing lights. Going to UPS today and mailing my 360 to M$.

Do they replace it with the same version, do they fix it, or do they give me the updated version (i.e., with HDMI output)?

Yeah...so I can't even play my WAW. I guess I'll have to stick with WOW for NOW.

When mine RRODed, they replaced it with a refurb with a loud ass dvd drive instead of fixing it.

Now that my warranty is up, they wouldn't even help me with the wireless headset that I bought the day I called them. XBox support is absolutely worthless.

they sent me a refurb which wouldn't read disks, so i claimed another rrod, they sent me a second one which is what i'm still on now

i'm hoping it red rings before my warranty is up so I can get another one...I hate this system is so unreliable, because I am so fond of it, lol

I sent mine in and got it back in 8-9 days. I can't remember. It seems to be brand new and I haven't had any problems in the last 2 months

so yeah i got a refurb on ebay, and its guaranteed to be in perfect working order, so i open it up and get an E74 error message. yeah yeah i know its ebay, but the company seems pretty reputable. at least there's a 30 day warranty

and on top of all this, my fucking month old plasma decides to stop working. not a good day

Anyone know what happens if you send in an xbox for repairs without a receipt? I assume they would be somewhat strict on this, but, I have no receipt and a broken xbox. Halp.

i never had a receipt when i sent mine in. They can determine some of the info just from the serial that you give them. Come to think of it they never even asked me for the receipt on the phone or anything and were pretty easy going

Finally got around to requesting a repair on my old Pro system that had the RRoD. I was afraid the extended warranty was up on it, but apparently it's not. We'll see how long it takes to get there and back again.

We'll also see how long it takes my elite to fuck up
