ok i know half of the people on here hate this show. (judging by the search i did earlier)

but i think it's pretty entertaining.

does anyone know when season three comes out on dvd??? (i dont have cable so i rely on netflix and other sources)

Season 3 isn't even over yet, it's starting back up next week. Probably sometime around mid-summer though.

Psych is one of my favorite shows! Its hilarious. I've got all of season 1 and 2 and all the episodes of season 3 up to the Christmas special...not sure if they're planning on releasing anymore after that this season.

USA does that a lot, they will just have a particular show play for 4-6 hours straight during the day. Monk, Burn Notice, and Psych all do this.

I wouldn't say they "called out" the Mentalist. I'd say they gave it a shoutout, kinda like the mentalist did a few weeks back with all the pineapple references.

I'd hope/guess that both of those shows are just acknowledging that the other exists and kind of agreeing to live in harmony or something. It's not like they share a timeslot or anything like that. People can be fans of both and I think both shows are ok with that.

Yeah, I really like both shows and it would be nice to think that's the case rather than the Simpsons/Family Guy feud thing. Although it can also be funny at times like the Scrubs/Grey's Anatomy shout outs.

I'm a fan of Psych. I try to be out and about it since I don't think it's gotten its due props.

I grew up on L/O and other crime shows.

Now I kinda need a gimmick, you know.

Psych is a great show, I love all the 80s references, haha.

And when I heard the plot for "The Mentalist" I thought it was an obvious rip-off. So I decided to watch an episode. And they basically copied an episode idea from Psych, so I then knew it was a rip-off, haha.

I wish they would have stuck a jab at that show but I really don't think that's the style of these writers.

Just finally caught up on DVR and saw the season finale tonight. I really do love this show a lot.

Wikipedia confirms it was season 3.
