or worst

Top 5
5. Troy Aikman - steady
4. Steve Yound - great insight
3. Boomer Assiason
2. Phil Sims - maybe the best
1. Micheal Irvine - most interesting, exciting analyst, sometimes horribly wrong but always interesting
he used to get a lot of flak but even boomer said he was one of the best

Worst 5
5. Micheal Strayhan
4. Shannon Sharp
3. Dion Sanders
2. Dan Marino
1. Emmit Smith

How the fuck do you care enough about this to make a thread, but are unable to spell 70% of their names?

Deion and Emmitt are easily the worst. Sheshawyn is also bad.

Mark Schlereth is the best.

it speaks highly of your lack of knowledge and insight when you spell nearly everyone's name wrong. And I find that wonderfully ironic since you're attempting to judge knowledge and insight.

i'd like the rest of yall to spell these names without looking them up

Steve Young
Boomer Esiason
Phil Simms (2 m's, wonderboy)
Michael Irvin
Michael Strahan
Shannon Sharpe
Deion Sanders (must be the money)
Emmitt Smith

that was REALLY tough, any more brain busters?

^^you're either a cheater or some spelling bee loser, either way you lose

^this is neither a paper, resume, or anything of the like, its a sports forum, the last place that spelling should matter

Emmit is the worst and it's not even close. It gets to a point when it's not even funny ... just painful. Marino is pretty awful too.

As far as the best, I'd say:
1. Ron Jaworski
2. Howie Long
3. Phil Sims
4. Troy Aikman
5. Merril Hoge

Also, Marcellus Wiley is surprisingly good. Young is alright, but gets a little preachy

he just talks fast and does not make strong central points

Long
Simms
Ditka
Schlereth
(Does Goelic count as an analyst? If not then Jaws)

Strahan is pretty good also IMO, but not top 5.

Everyone except Ditka on ESPN's pregame show sucks. Those guys do nothing but argue the whole time.

NBC's team also sucks. It's like there's a stick up everyone's ass.

Yeah, I'm mostly thinking of the guys on the right side of the table.

Although I can't stand Berman either.

So, really, only Ditka is worthwhile on that crew.

" Kansas City Chiefs: Tim Tebow, QB, Florida
I had to get some help for this No. 6 overall draft pick so I look through the wide world web for answers. It turns out that not one mock draft from 2008 have Tim Tebow, the great quarterback from Florida, going. Have not many people heard of this? Tim Tebow is a great player: He can run. And he can throw.

This pick make a lot of sense because Trent Green is startin' to get a little gray in his moustache, while Larry Johnson is gettin' really big in the tooth, so to speak. Tom Tebow can take both of their places in the starting lineup."

Apparently Matt Millen was a great analyst before he took his now infamous job with the Lions.

I wasn't paying enough mind back then to tell though.

how is he annoying? all he does is break down plays, thats it. He doesnt yell, or have weird stupid opinions, he just talks about X's and O's, which I find very entertaining
