I'm interested in starting an NC State sneakernet kinda thing. Bandwidth is always limited, and the more stuff you have, the more bandwidth and the internet limits you. A GB Ethernet or external 1TB HD could give you more in an afternoon than a year on the internet.

How could that work?

Wow, I'm glad I stumbled upon this right after that ^ post... I would be eternally grateful for an invite to Demonoid or What.CD... I stumbled on What.CD a few months ago and have been pretty mystified with it since, never come across anybody who would say they were "a member" or whatever you'd call it. I promise I'll be good and seed to a bare minimum ratio of 2! By the way, does anyone here use a proxy server?
