HAHAHA My uncle used to start the day with a pot. 1-2 pots at work (in the programming department anything that was caffeinated was free, including the 50lb bags of chocolate covered espresso beans) and coffee before bed. And he still slept like a rock.Last christmas while he was down in NC he decided to quit his habit - he slept for like 2 days straight and came out looking like he had the worst hangover of his life. He's down to 1-2 cups per day though. Probably a lot better for him.

I used to slam down 6-shot mochas before I went to bed. DESENSITIZED.Once though, I tried it the night before an 8am exam and spent the entire night twitching, wide awake in bed praying for half an hour of sleep. I didn't get one wink. I aced the exam instead.

Why would you drink a bunch of coffee before trying to go to sleep?

why not?

i like a good nights sleep. It's usually traditional to drink coffee when you wake up, not right before you go to bed. But whatever floats your boat.

I try to limit myself to 2 cups in the morning.SOMETIMES I will get crazy and drink a cup in the afternoon as well.

I'm still in school and don't need to drink coffee. I hate over the summers though when i have 8-5's and have to drink 2 cups in the morning or i'll pass out at my desk.

That's the only reason I drink it.I used to be a random hit up Starbucks or whoever for a cup of coffee like twice a month. NOW I gotta catch em all!

i might average 1-2 cups every week over the course of a year - when i travel it's almost every day but when working from home i don't have any typically unless we have company in town
