Do auto parts stores take them or is there somewhere else to drop them off??? (Raleigh)

Pretty sure I've dropped them off at Autozone on Western. If not there I know Batteries Plus on S. Saunders will take them.

just like any other battery, you can take them to batteries plus as well. or drop it off at your local garage

or just leave it sitting on your garage floor like i did

the sad thing is advanced told me if i bring in my battery they'll refund me $10 on my battery purchase but I was too lazy to do that.

Most places have whats called a core charge which is tagged on your bill unless you bring in an old one, in which case they either wipe it or refund your money (or as a friend of mine does, collect them and then enmasse turn them in)

we gave like 100 or so of junk ones to state they used them for something.
