supposedly* some of those plant oils can sustain microbial life

however, I doubt it can sustain very much, probably not enough to be relevant in a person at least

*It was once suggested to me that various plant oils would make poor high voltage insulators due to eventual microbial contamination. I have not observed or researched this further than that, though.
