i have a series of 60 consecutive pictures i want to turn into a movie file format that i can send to my friends, whats the easiest way, i've searched unsuccessfully

I made a stop motion short on windows movie maker once, but it was a pain, because that program is garbage city.

i have a mac but i cant figure out how to do it in imovie or ps cs4. right now i don't have any software to just make a gif so i have no idea

well on WMM I kind of pretended that the images were movie clips and made them really really really short. I'm sure iMovie is similar.

i told him exactly what he needs to do.google makeavi. i'm pretty sure it does exactly what you want. no frills, but this is exactly what this program does.

Photoshop is more than capable; there's no need to download another program.[Edited on January 16, 2009 at 8:45 AM. Reason : ...unless you want true movie format as opposed to .gif]

oh. i didn't realize that second post was from the same guy. yeah. carry on. photoshop will do it.and i don't know that makeavi works on a mac anyway.
