not a lot to do in the city

2000lb + no torque + 70hp + fwd + slipping clutch = may as well be AWD. its like traction control is always on!

yep couldn't get my car out of the parking lot this morning. Parking lot is on a slope and it is basically ice. I just slid over to the next parking spot haha, sure was glad there weren't any cars around me.

good amount of snow overall, but not much really acclumulated on the roads. all the major routes are pretty clear now, and even the secondary roads are much to get excited about. the only hope for dumbassery might be in a virgin parking lot late tonight when it all freezes hard.

Had a hell of a time getting up the hill on Kaplan in the Marauder. It does not particularly like snow.

Pussies.

Seriously though, the roads were fun at around 10 am, now they're just slushy or even clear. Besides, I saw 3 cars blow through stop signs or traffic lights, I'm getting kinda scared.

Anybody wanna meet up at a large parking lot (know of one around?) later tonight? I'm dying to take the WRX out...

I found virgin snow in a industrial parking lot in garner. The 4Runner was unimpressive. It felt piggish as if it would rather sink through the snow and grab the asphalt below. Made me wish I had a Wrangler for a minute.

The Trooper failed miserably in the snow. Could have more to do with the bald tires than the truck its self. Wont stop, wont turn. Damn I miss the Tahoe

^^lol, my troopers were the same damn way. narrow track, narrow tires, and heavy don't mix.

^yeah, that was a wild time. i delivered pizza in north raleigh all that night in my 68 newport. filled the trunk with all the heavy junk i could find and it rolled on.

went tearing up the drive at work this morning, approached the left hander to the employee lot and realized i was going too fast... tapped the brakes... then stomped the pedal and nearly slid into the shop truck in front of me. Turned back into the thruway and drove on down the front of the shop like nothing had happened

Watch the black ice fellas. It was fun earlier this morning but seems to be getting really unpredictable now. I've already seen quite a few accidents. I'm staying home for a bit now. Too bad we never really get to play w/the powdery stuff around here.
