What exactly is Microsoft .NET framework?

I have been having issues with my ATI Radeon 2400 graphics card wehre the Catalyst Control Center does not work, popping up some error, and than at random times my video driver actually crashes causing my system to reboot.

I've been googling the problem and have gotten several refrences to some kind of bug or problem with Microsoft .NET but i am not sure what this is and why its screwing up my video drivers.

you need it to run programs written with Microsoft C++ and C# since 2002

It should install with the ATI Catalyst drivers.

It's just like downloading java.

download latest drivers for that card though....are you running vista?
