I'm new at this, so be please be patient...

At any rate, it's a GE flat top electric oven/range. We moved into the house a year ago, I suppose it's about 9 years older before that. Rear burner appears to have been overheated at one point (the paint on the back right behind it is worn/melted) by the previous owners. But it works just fine. We lucked into a free less-used oven to upgrade.

By lucked into a free less-used oven to upgrade, do you mean your mommy bought you a new oven?
