Since the old one is dead and there are too many mma thread, but mostly cause there isnt on on the Fedor vs. Arlovski fight last night,
i didnt see it, didnt see any clips yet but i hear Arlovski actually had Fedor in a vulnrable situation, which is hard to believe, then lost it on a knockout punch

nah it wasnt really vulnerability, fedor gets hit in alot of his fights

sometimes he gets outstruck

arlovski had somethin good goin but i couldnt believe he went for a flying knee, but really fedor looked no more vulnerable than anyother fight

plus fedor was def controlling the clinch and slipping arlovskis punches enough so that he didnt catch em flush

^^thanks for the link. I hadn't seen it yet. Just read about it. I expected a more solid punch from what I read. Looked like a glancing blow, but he just got him right on the button and put him down.

it was good to see Arlovski get back to being more of an aggressor in this fight. The last couple of his with the UFC were boring as shit.

arlovskis been pretty aggresive since leaving the UFC

he fought roy nelson and ben rothwell, both were vintage arlovski

ah, I hadn't seen those fights. I like his style when he isn't laying back and jabbing for 3 rounds.

I wish the UFC would do some cross promotional fights so we could see some of the matchups in the heavyweight division that are out there.

man it wont happen

the UFC seems to have taken the approach of building new talent in the HW division...which i think will pay off in the end but we have to suffer through a division with lke 3 contenders 20 gatekeepers and 3 solid future prospects

rumor has it they are trying to sign alistair overeem and crocop might come back for one last hurrah...im excited for alistair but crocop..meh, his heart aint in fighting like it used to be
