Im going to be moving Charlotte in a couple of weeks and was wondering what are some good areas of town for fun nightlife and relatively cheap places to live.

Also what are some fun things in the Charlotte area, such as comedy clubs, concert venues, unique bars, outdoor activities, ect.

uptown has a lot of bars/clubs that are fun!!!! Thats where the majority of Charlotte's night life is.

Depending on cheap how much are you willing to spend? Where will you be working??

Best concert venues are amos southend and tremont music hall

I lived in Steele Creek, one mile from Carowinds. My roommate and I hit up NoDa like every fucking weekend. The Common Market and the Penguin are also some pretty cool spots if you like a more chill environment.

Noda/Plaza Central are great places to hang out. Go uptown if you're looking for clubs.

I live in uptown but its pretty expensive here. I love being able to walk to the bars around here though...not all of uptown are clubs. Black Finn and Dixies are 2 of my favorite places here.
