Yeah, definitely never went at my dad. Military and police training both teach you how to drop a guy quick. Already ended up almost unconscious after a demonstration of how to take down someone with an expanding baton (he didn't mean to go that far and was worried about me afterwards). lol

Definitely knew that if I ever wanted to take him down, it had better be with a gun and surprise him.

*The entire time we grew up, there were only a few times we were physically beat instead of just getting grounded. But, you knew that if you pushed it, he could back up any threat he made. So when you were told to do push-ups, you did them.

^^^^ My dad and I have a great father/son relationship, but that day he taught me a very valuable lesson- if you have any reservations about causing someone harm, you will lose. I'm bigger/stronger/faster than him now, but I know without any doubt that IF I came at him again, he would stick it out until he landed that one hit that really counted.

Plus, I'm 23 and we don't argue about shit anymore. And we both have guns. No reason to fight about anything.
