My wife has had her full time hours scaled back some recently and so was looking for some additional work to help supplement our income. She has signed up for some job sites and was contacted the other day by this guy. Obviously, it sounds too good to be true, but I have done some searching and haven't run across any scam reports for this type of activity. Is it as simple as collecting her social security number for "tax purposes"? Any ideas?

I think I saw something like this on Oprah- The people buy the merchandise from stolen credit cards and use you as a middle man to then sell the stolen goods.

I though of something like that, but my wife wouldn't be selling the goods, just shipping them for a power seller on ebay. The seller on ebay has a good reputation there, and she emailed him through the ebay system to make sure it is the same guy.

Handling 20 orders per week maximum @ $600.00 per week = $30.00 per order plus benefits.

I am guessing that if this is legit, the orders will be massive. I'd imagine you'd receive a box with 500 widgets and you'd need to sort, package, and affix a label to each one.

it's already been mentioned - you will be shipped goods bought with a stolen credit card - then directed to send them on to the buyer

when people capitalize words that aren't supposed to be capitalized, that usually means they're an idiot

What about when people don't capitalize words that are supposed to be capitalized?

If these fuckers would just offer believable wages, they'd be able to scam a lot more people

so if you are charged with an accessory after-the-fact like this seems to be, can you still successfully claim ignorance?

You should take them up on this and give them RPD's address as their shipping destination.
