@ evan: You didn't have to cheat this thing - Claire was in a solid second place the whole time - no chance she wouldn't have been in the running... Lots of people working hard and fairly on Carrie Anne Little's behalf here in Washington were screwed by your hack... next time, just leave it off. Totally not cool.

... Evan said he was going to hack into the site at whitehousefarmer.com and run up the vote total for Claire Strader, who evidently is a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend. I've been working, along with my entire community, all the blogs and newspapers and radio stations and everything else here in Tacoma, Washington to try to get votes on this site the fair way for Carrie Anne Little, a personal friend of mine who was ahead in this vote until just a little bit after the blog post where Evan said he was going to start cheating the totals.

I wasn't able to find any big media exposure that would have helped to account for the hundreds and hundreds of votes that Clarie suddenly made up on Carrie in the past day and a half, after having kept almost exactly even, on average for a the better part of a week... until the day after Evan said he was going to hack the site. This is the only possible reason I could find for the jump in her votes.

Evan also appears to admit in this blog to doing this kind of thing in the past.

Totally uncool.
