That's a shitty comment to make.

Costner is a good kid and a fine representative of the university. We all would have liked to see him play to his potential.

he is lazy as shit and never showed one sign that he gave a shit about this university. we would have liked to see him reach his potential but he came nowhere close

He is in for a rude awakening at the NBA draft camps. His game has Euro style to it at least. Soft, slow, and unathletic. Bon Voyage.

"Brandon Costner, PF, NC State*
Costner is a bit of a tweener, and NBA scouts are skeptical about him. He put up great numbers as a freshman, had a disappointing sophomore season and bounced back a little as a junior. Still, most NBA scouts feel he doesn't have what it takes to be an NBA player. I'd expect him to return for his senior year at NC State."

Chad Ford usually knows what he's talking about -- not so much this time.

article stinks. Says that Ed Davis is 50-50, even though he stated he's staying in school per espn's sources the other day.

^^^ Yeah but look at the 3rd sentence of the article:

"Last year at this time, Derrick Rose said he'd definitely be returning to Memphis."

I didn't know that shit, I guess anything is possible at this point. But given Costner's situation, since he redshirted his true freshman year, and he'll be finishing his degree and graduating, I can't really see him coming back. Plus he was a McD's all-american in high school, so he's prolly been waiting to go to the NBA for a long time.

he did say that, but he's also projected as a lottery pick right now so I don't think it's really set in stone...if you are projected as a lottery pick it would almost be stupid to come back

Yes that's about what i would have expected a mid-30s Brandon Costner to look like.
