Maybe their family members were sexually abusing them and they told people but no one believed them and they felt the only way out of it was to kill their family members. Then struck with the reality of what they had just done they killed themself

But why kill off the family? The latest one was in Ohio and they won't give the reason for it but the other two were due to unemployment.

There are other options besides ending your bloodline. I don't get why people are suddenly taking their families with them and not just offing themselves alone.

well if they are the breadwinner for the family, or the only parent who works they probably feel completely responsible for the welfare of their family. if they lose their job and have no money and no family or friends to turn to, maybe they see death as the answer. and as to not feel like a coward and leave their family with a death to deal with on top of all the other shit, they take them out too

Some life insurance does pay for suicide, but not within like 2 years or something of getting the policy.

There's some truth to both sides, imo.

I believe that in some (perhaps many) cases, suicide is completely justifiable.

However, it is a drastic step which will inflict great pain on one's family and friends (if one has any), and to take it without serious consideration, or because of a problem which will probably disappear in just a few weeks or months, is, in my opinion, immensely selfish.

I totally disagree that people should have a carte blanche to commit suicide.

I mean, a guy who supports his wife and 6 kids, all of whom love him dearly, who kills himself because he stubs his toe, is fucking scum.

Nobody kills himself because of a stubbed toe, of course; but there is a continuum of justifiability. Sometimes suicide is justifiable; and sometimes it is just a weak, stupid, selfish coward's way out.
