I've read that your character will start off without it, but will get injuredly very badly and be put through an operation that gives you the slo-mo ability. I have no more details beyond that.

The first F.E.A.R. was pretty good, it had a nice blend of action and creepiness. The first expansion pack, while much shorter, was scary as fuck. The second expansion pack was decent, but it wasn't really all that scary.

Just finished the demo. This game is very promising.

And driving a near-indestructible mech ftw.

The only thing that annoyed me was how dim and narrow the flashlight was. It's one thing for the game to be scary, but I could barely see where I was going.

This game looks and is amazing so far. I am only into the second interval as I am a giant chicken and can only take this game in small doses. I would imagine that it looks nice on a console too.

Reviews i've read say it looks better on PC. "Not at sharp" on 360. Haven't heard about the PS3 version though. It's rare that a game will actually look better on a console. Almost done downloading!

RE4 is an exceptionally rare case of this happening, and it was the Gamecube version that was the best, even over the PS2 version, and just maybe even over the Wii version as well.

I just played some this morning and the graphics look amazing on my laptop. It detected my hardware and it's running at 1280 x 800 by default. I need to adjust the audio a little, because I cranked all the settings to the max and I think that may have ruined some of the balance. Anyway, it is leaps and bounds better graphically and so far it runs smooth as fuck. I will probably beat it this weekend.

^^I think with RE4 it was at such a low resolution on the gamecube that it blurred everything and appeared smoother. Whereas on the PC at 1920 by 1200 it appeared all blocky and fuzzy because it was an older game. Kinda like how N64 looks better on an older tv than an HDTV, or how analog tv looks better on a non-digital tv. You can only interpolate a games graphics so much.

This was definitely a step up. My only complaint was that it was a little short. The graphics, gameplay, storyline, and ending were all well done. I just wish it had 12 more hours. I beat it really quickly.
