The first one would have been damn near perfect with about 30-45 minutes less plot development bullshit, specifically that whole "let's go the kid's house scene" with all the attempted comedy of giant robots hiding outside. As long as they cut that shit out, give us a good sub 2-hour movie of condensed giant robot action + megan fox, it will be awesome.

I enjoyed Transformers, although I could have used less of the Kids house/Earthquake scenes, but I know it was there for the lil kids to get some comedy. All the little kids I know that saw it loved those parts...

They could also cut out the part where they had human characters. They never really added anything to the storyline anyway. You won't get Megan Fox naked, the film has to keep a PG-13 rating so the teenage movie crowd can pay their dues.

I've heard their are around 40 robots in the new one. That is hard to believe. I hope it's true though. The big guy at the end bashing Prime is only 1 constructicon from what I've heard.. not the complete Devastator..

I hope the cons get more screen time, especially Starscream.

was a stupid fucking movie.


it was over in the first few scenes for me...

a perfectly formed ice slide leads to a robot who arm gets brushed which causes it to shoot out an image of a map which is apparently how this robot "looked" at a map... I know my computer has to print out excel charts so it can hold them up to the monitor to "read" them... they master intergalactic space travel but still have to physically read a map that they shoot out from themselves... and then the aforementioned house scene and the "lets go back to the city for no reason except give us a landscape for nifty fights" and I gave up. Fucking horrible. It was made for idiots who would accept anything with transforming robots in it.

First movie was OK. A lot of the stupid shit can be pretty much excused with "it's a Michael Bay movie". you just have to lower your expectations. Still had a ton of problems though.
