i downloaded my word document lab report template, started drawing a diagram and everything was going good. as soon as i started typing the caption under the drawing it locked up. had to end task and tried again. locked up as soon as i started typing again. did it 3 times in a row. fine until i start to type.

any guesses? i'm doing the "repair" thing that pops up when you put in the MS office disk now.

I just hate the huge bar across the top. Why would they want to make the work area smaller by implementing a HUGE ASS menu?

so I say fuck '07 and just use '03.

You can "minimize" that huge bar, much more bearable.

when i use my jump drive with word 07 it will not save right, and keeps renaming it to some .tmp.docx file and says i don't have permission to save it. Its bullshit
