Purchased from performance bike in cary in november. I've ridden it maybe a couple of miles, in pretty much new condition.

^^^^ since you are tryin to blow his spot up, you should of realized that the link you put up there is for the 3.0 without disc brakes. Disc brakes add a good bit to the price of a bike and they are well worth every bit of that price too.

Yeah, I second that. After owning several bikes (road and mountain) with all different sorts of brakes, I must say it is nice to be able to stop. I have the scars to prove it.
