is on CW now. One of the greatest movies of the 80s (or at least, that's how i remember it)

I spend countless hours watching this, The Goonies, and Back to the Future growing up.....

^^ fun fact for you. Jerry Levine who plays Rupert in Teenwolf (the best friend) wore that shirt.

He directed a couple of episodes of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia which is why Mac wears that shirt in an episode as a tribute to him.

I somehow avoided this movie in the 80s and finally got around to watching it last night. I missed the beginning, so maybe this question was answered then...

What was up with Scott's main rival? It appears like they go to the same high school, or at least a high school that is close to his because he's got a girlfriend in Scott's school and even takes her to the dance. Then later he shows up in the "State Championship" game at the end of the movie. I guess it's a Duke/UNC thing where the best two high schools in the state just happen to be right down the road from each other.

Also, lol at the "stay away from my girl" moment at the dance. It made sense. but they could have picked a better time to do that other than when he was busy macking on "Boof".
