I thought it was basically a long jump stop where you effectively got away with two and a half and almost three steps (a la the Lebron thing a few weeks ago) but then yesterday during the NCSU/VT game, Capel kept talking about crab dribbles and made them sound like just some regular low post move...wtf is a crab dribble? and is this a new term? i had never heard it until a couple months ago] 2/9/2009 12:12:08 PM |

yeah I was completely wrong, it's just jumping while dribbling in the post to try to get by the defender.

He was just trying to sound cool and with it. I think he was referring to it as when a post player backs in his defender while maintaining a dribble. It was idiotic though. 2/9/2009 12:13:35 PM |
