fuck buying jewelry for a gf. I will only buy one piece of jewelry for a gf and that's because I'm expecting her to become more than that.

no rings, no earrings, no bracelets, no necklaces, etc. fuck that shit.

depends on the setting. I always preferred princess but I ended up with 7 round and couldn't be happier. but if it's a solitare then definitely the princess.

round if you have to pick between those 2,

cushion or asscher otherwise

i found that a big-ass sapphire works pretty well too (though not an engagement ring)

Traditional - round brilliant cut. It optimizes the bling factor, and the optics back it up.

round.

recent studies indicate women who like princess cut are 78% more likely to cheat on you.

emerald cut came in the highest at 89%.

i actually like them both, so i'm no help

you could ask a sibling or a best friend. thats what i would do.

[Edited on February 13, 2009 at 4:59 PM. Reason : oh, for earrings, i'd go with round!]

or you could go to the mall with her. casually walk into a jewelry store saying that you want to look at the watches. as you are looking around, she will undoubtedly stroll over to the engagement rings. when she does, walk over and say "So what kind do you like?". Then you can make some kind of joke like "Well maybe 1 day" or "I will have to keep that in mind".

Mine is radiant cut. It look like a princess cut, but it's cheaper, and I think prettier.

oh, oh earrings, Round.

princess is trendy now not in 10 years.

round are the best here as there is no "up" or "down" or "crooked"

princess in the ears can look all funky
