After coming off of a solid road victory of scoring over 80 points for the third game in a row, the wolfpack look to go into the dean dome and renew a basketball rivalry and renew a season that started off slow. The key to this game lies on our PG's as usual. If we limit the TO's and score in the 80's one more time, we give ourselves a chance. Here's to a crazy upset!

We played one of our better games of the season and still lost by double digits in the first game. UNC is just too good.

I watched the UM/UNC game last night, and a few things stood out. Beating them would still take a miracle, but we can do a few things to really help our odds:

- Play a lot of zone. Maybe not all zone, but Miami really slowed down UNC's offense with a zone last night (26 points in the first half). I don't really know what zone they were running (looked like a 2-3), but UNC looked almost helpless at times against it.

- Play Hansbrough tough. He's really not getting the cheap fouls like last year -- it's like the refs finally figured out his "jump into the defender" move and stopped whistling fouls. I wouldn't even double him. Just play him solidly, and don't try to block his shot.

- Crash the offensive glass. Everyone is so worried about stopping UNC's fast-break, they don't even make them earn a rebound. We should have Tracy attack the offensive glass relentlessly. Again, don't just give them a free pass into their fast-break.

- Let Bobby Frasor shoot as much as he wants. The guy is really off right now, but they have to play him because of poor depth on the wing.

Again, it'd take a miracle for us to win. But if we limit TO's and take GOOD shots, we'll give them much less fast break opportunities. Make them play a half-court game (easier said than done, I know) and they're definitely beatable.

In general, he's been off all year. I guess the point was, if you're going to let someone shoot, make sure it's Frasor. Not Green, Lawson, Ellington.

To pull of the upset we need a near flawless game from Javi and Farnold, but they've been playing really well as of late. Also, another big game from Tracy Smith is definitely key. It's not impossible but i'm not going to hold my breath.

Lawson is better at getting to the basket under control than Teague is, though Teague has a better pull up mid range game.

If Courtney can hit some early 3's we can hang with them IMO... will be a challenge, but we can hang.

i don't know if we can really afford to play junk defenses against UNC, they have enough perimeter shooting to make us pay with Lawson, Ellington and Green...in they WF game it made sense since they are struggling from beyond the arc and the only real threat to shoot 3s with consistency was Teague

Get an id of someone that looks like you. It's pretty hard to get in because they actually look at the picture, and I would assume even more closely since it's a big game. You could also try finding an id where the picture is really faded.
