heard him out loud do it during the game, and he just did it again on the post game. Did anyone else catch that? I wasn't paying attention then all of a sudden I heard the F bomb and him saying he mean't to say "freakin".

Please tell me i'm not the only one that heard that.

it's a little degrading. people do it all the time though. i'm sure most kids wouldn't pick up on it if that's what you're worried about. tiger woods does it pretty often, or he used to when he actually played golf regularly, i bet other people do it to, tiger is just on camera all the time.

some of you dont realize this IS a big deal. He didn't just say it while coaching or something. He said it at a press conference that is aired live over the air on many radio stations, etc.. It can create legal issues for radio stations and such who are responsible for their broadcast content, despite it being a live press conference like that.

The reason that words like this slip out at times like these is because they're a part of your daily vocabulary and used often, so for him to say that he doesn't swear all the time is total bs.

what some people arent getting is that it's not the big deal that he said the F word.. i couldn't care less who says it. The thing is there is basically an understanding that you are doing a PRESS conference ( that goes out to I dunno, the Press? ) and that you need to censor your words during that event. It's another story if he says it during a taped interview or whatever, but when what you say is going live it's a different story. Roy wouldn't come into the WRAL studios for a live interview during the 5:00 news and drop the F word
