Game is televised on Raycom.

With the Deacons sliding, State needs to seize this opportunity to get an RPI boosting road win against the #13 ranked team in the nation if it has any hopes at the postseason. Hopefully they can continue to play well and Brandon Costner drops 27 on the Deacs in memory of his grandfather. Will we see the box-and-1 that was so effective in the first meeting of these two teams? Will Wake be prepared for it if they see it? I guess we'll find out.

This is going to be a tough game ... TOUGH game. Wake is a completely different team at home. They've only lost one game at home all year (VT) and beat both Duke and UNC. We've got to be strong on the boards and get quality shots to have a chance.

the rest of the games are on TV. the wake forest game at home was the only one that was ever scheduled to not be on TV.

oh i just looked at ESPN a couple days ago and all it said was ESPN360, but I guess they wouldn't advertise for raycom. Just thought it was going to have to be the same as the last WF game

Oh, yeah. ESPN will have ESPN360 because that is their affiliate that is carrying the game--nationally at that. Raycom isn't national so they aren't going to list that.

I'll be there, and I'll be decked in red. I agree with boozie though -- Winston-Salem and the Wolfpack seem to have a crappy relationship.

But as many times as Wake has broke my heart at the Joel, NOTHING compares to that game winning shot Chris Paul hit in 2006 at the RBC. I'm getting depressed just thinking about it

I see us being competitive in this game, but I also see Teague lighting us up from 3 and being unstoppable. I think we drop this away game, win our next 2 at home vs. MD and BC, then lose again at Miami to the dirty McClinton. We finish 17-12 in the regular season.

Damn raycom splits don't pick up in VA, which means that I am forced to use raycomsports.com. Last game it skipped so much that the delay caught up at the end of the game and I missed the last 1:15 of the game.

I'm not really optimistic about this game, and I don't feel it's a "must win" although if we do lose, all of our games after are "must wins." Winning will definitely help our cause dramatically. They looked badass against duke though, even if they did lose.

if we somehow actually win this game, it would be a game changer for this years program. we would be looking at a realistic chance of making the big dance and i would say we would probably be right on the bubble. how big are the following losses:

Marquette - .03 secs left
VT- OT blown lead
Davidson- curry 30ft 3 pointer
FSU- 3 pt loss

we would be 19-10 and probably in bracketology with those four wins.

Duke was a winnable game as well until we laid poo on the court with 7 mins left

^ happens to all teams. Every team has had their close loses. I agree that we should have won 1 or 2 of those, but to say we should have won all of them is crazy.

even if we win this game and win out, we would need to win a game or two in the ACC tourney to get in, in my opinion. Because besides Wake, we wouldn't have beat anyone GOOD.

that's absolutely stupid. We might need one acc tourney win, might. we'd have won 7 of our last 8, with wins over wake twice and all bubble teams of bc, maryland, and miami. You really think the selection comity won't take a team that's 9-7 in conference and has played really well to close out the season? that's stupid.

I'll agree that our OoC was weak and we still didn't capitalize on it, but I feel that if any team ever in acc (the strongest conference in the ncaa) play ever goes 9-7 and doesn't make it, it would be a complete shock and absolutely absurd.
